I have always found all the doctors to be very attentive and understanding. I also don't feel rushed which I really appreciate even when the surgery is busy. My only negative is that it can take a long time to get through on the phone during busy periods. When you do get through, there is usually an appointment with one of the many doctors there. I am happy to see any one of them, especially if it's urgent. If there isn't an appointment on the day, I have always managed to get an out of hours hub appointment (even on a Sunday). You do need to ask the receptionists though as they don't always mention this service. Overall, I am very happy with this GP practice. I can say with confidence that the doctors are great as I used to live in a different borough and I had a less than satisfactory experience with another surgery.

I haven’t been able to get through on phone to ask for an appointment. Given up twice after just hearing a recorded message for 12 minutes and 14 minutes respectively. First available appointment online was a week in advance; nothing before (which is why I was ringing). Can’t review the doctors or care received as I can’t get past the recorded message, but had to rate at least one star to complete survey.

The Gp's at Fitznells are helpful. However the phone line is abysmal. Even at quiet times e.g. mid-afternoon, one has to wait indefinitely listening to a repeating recorded message. It's almost impossible to get through during busy times. I have reported this as a problem a few times but there has been no apparent change / improvement in phones access.

I have a repeat prescription which is issued as an NHS prescription but is chargeable. Every time I request it online it fails to materialise at the nominated chemist This practice seems incapable of dealing with repeat prescriptions appropriately

My review is almost entirely about the admin system of making appointments etc, so far the actual reception desk and medical care have been very good. You can register online to make appointments but after initial success I have been locked out of the system for no reason. I waited on hold for 20 mins on the appointments line for information and then the email I sent to the address I was given to resolve the website problem bounced back. IF you can get through and get an appointment or IF the online system works I recommend the surgery but it is a nightmare getting an appointment
